Vision, Mission and Guiding Principles
VISION STATEMENT
MISSION STATEMENT
To provide ongoing leadership for our entire congregation by serving as a driving force for promoting participation in outreach both here and internationally as is consistent with our church’s resources and strategic objectives.
GUIDING PRINCIPLES
Our right to speak is actually a command given by Christ to His people and is not something to be earned.
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” Mt. 28:18-20 (ESV)
It is the Father’s way to call the lost with mercy and kindness. This requires that His servants be marked by those attributes both in word and action as they work for His glory.
Or do you presume on the riches of his kindness and forbearance and patience, not knowing that God’s kindness is meant to lead you to repentance? Ro. 2:4 (ESV)
The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will. 2Tim 2:24-26 (NASB)
The Holy Spirit ordains God’s servants and the work they are to do. Our committee’s task is to cooperate with Him by helping those whom He calls to the work of evangelism.
While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.” Then after fasting and praying they laid their hands on them and sent them off. Acts 13:2-3.

Mission Opportunities
We believe that we learn most about our God, ourselves and our world by participating in the work He has called us to do. It is our continuing prayer that our local Kingdom Outpost, the people of CCBC, will be led by the Holy Spirit to participate in missions in some way for the glory of Christ and for their spiritual growth and blessing.
As an aid to thinking about how Christ-followers can be more involved in mission work we’ve categorized them in three ways: Neighborhood and Workplace Missions, Community Missions, and International Missions. This also helps to make clear how well our joint efforts are balanced across the differing spectrums of the mission field the Lord has placed before us as a church.
Finally, we work to ensure that we are addressing those groups that Scripture seems to teach have a special place in the heart of our Lord. Broadly speaking those groups are the poor, orphans, widows (single moms), prisoners, and the lost.

We believe that Scripture teaches the Lord’s people participate in the advancement of His Kingdom through prayer, action and giving. Corporately Christ Community Baptist Church seeks to be faithful to this mandate by running, participating in, and/or financially partnering with the missions and ministries below.

Cornerstone Respite strives to provide respite care for medically stable homeless individuals who have been released from the hospital or the ER and who would benefit from additional time indoors, with basic care, to enhance their recovery outcomes.
Weather Emergency Shelter and Outreach
CCBC works with a network of local churches to provide winter shelter to the homeless whenever the county declares an emergency due to freezing temperatures. When a summer heat emergency is declared we work with the same group to distribute water and electrolytes.
This group of CCBC sewing and quilting enthusiasts work to provide items needed by CareNet, Olive Crest and various homeless missions.
Chad and Jamie Dimon are MAF missionaries in Lesotho, a mountainous country surrounded by South Africa. They help provide accessibility to people in remote locations through the use of small aircraft, making it possible to provide physical and spiritual support. Jamie is a former member of CCBC.

Lone Star Church Nellore, AP, India
Post-COVID and new government regulations we are working to reestablish short-term missions trips to minister to adults and children in the rural villages surrounding Nellore with Lone Star Church.
Restoration Ministries, Brazil
We have a vision to impact the world for Jesus Christ as a gospel-based ministry to underprivileged children and their communities, which plants churches, develops and equips self-sustaining local church-based ministries by partnering and networking with churches, agencies, kindred ministries, and the marketplace.
