Missions

Neighborhood/Workplace, Community, & International Missions

We believe that we learn most about our God, ourselves and our world by participating in the work He has called us to do.

It is our continuing prayer that our local Kingdom Outpost, the people of CCBC, will be led by the Holy Spirit to participate in missions in some way for the glory of Christ and for their spiritual growth and blessing.

Our hope is that everyone can (and will) identify, and participate in an area that our Father has given them a heart for and at a level that aids their spiritual growth while challenging their comfort level, at least a little bit. To that end, we continue to work to identify “easy on-ramp” opportunities, as well as, more complex ones.

Community Missions & Ministries

Christ Community Church partners with CareNet locally to support women in crisis pregnancy. They provide life-saving options for unborn children and support to the mothers through the love of Christ. We are so thankful to partner with them in this front-line ministry to our community.

Olive Crest partners with Christ Community Church in the beautifully messy work of caring for vulnerable children by supporting foster families, birth families and the children loved by both. Their program is growing by leaps and bounds, as they continue to serve in Pierce, Kitsap, Thurston and King Counties.

The mission of Kairos Prison Ministry is to share the transforming love and forgiveness of Jesus Christ to impact the hearts and lives of incarcerated men, women and youth, as well as their families, to become loving and productive citizens of their communities. ” I was in prison and you visited me” –Matthew 25:36

New Hope Resource Center is a ministry under Homeward Bound in Puyallup, a 501c3 dedicated to being a catalyst in the community, providing awareness about homeless issues, and administrative services for ministries that help the homeless.

CCBC works with a network of local churches to provide winter shelter to the homeless whenever the county declares an emergency due to freezing temperatures. When a summer heat emergency is declared we work with the same group to distribute water and electrolytes.

This group of CCBC sewing and quilting enthusiasts work to provide items needed by CareNet, Olive Crest and various homeless missions.

MAF missionaries help provide accessibility to people in remote locations through the use of small aircraft, making it possible to provide physical and spiritual support. CCBC partners with two families serving with MAF.

Trinity Aviation Academy was founded for one purpose: to provide an environment where exceptional missionary pilots/mechanics are trained, developed and sent out into the Mission Field to competently and professionally do the job God has called them to do.

NAB has been working in the country of Cameroon since the 1930’s. We helped birth the Cameroon Baptist Convention that now has over 1,000 churches, two seminaries, 68 primary schools and six hospitals, along with 52 health centers. The primary focus of our work with the CBC is in advanced Medical training, Theological Education and Missionary Children Education.

Lone Star Church Nellore, AP, India
Post-COVID and new government regulations we are working to reestablish short-term missions trips to minister to adults and children in the rural villages surrounding Nellore with Lone Star Church.

We have a vision to impact the world for Jesus Christ as a gospel-based ministry to underprivileged children and their communities, which plants churches, develops and equips self-sustaining local church-based ministries by partnering and networking with churches, agencies, kindred ministries, and the marketplace.
